How can I tell if my boiler condensate pipe is frozen

Hey! I believe that my boiler condensate pipe is frozen. Firstly, how can I ensure that my diagnosis is correct? And what steps can I take to thaw it out? Should this be done by a professional? What about checking to confirm that it’s frozen, can I do this DIY or better to hire a heating engineer?

"Good Morning,

You can try and thaw the pipe using a hot water bottle or a boiled kettle (leave the kettle to cool for a minute)

It is always a good idea to have a Gas Safe professional look to check the safe operation of the boiler.

Kind regards

"Disconnect the condense pipe from the boiler and reset it, if the boiler fires then you are probably right, if you can get to it with a hairdryer or it’s safe to pour boiling water on it you could try that but it usually best to get a professional"
