What is the best way to remove polystyrene ceiling tiles? Is there an easier way to remove all of the adhesive?

"If you have the energy and strength then you could use a 4inch scraper blade but it will be hard work and difficult depending on the type of adhesive that has been used, and you still run the risk of digging big chunks out of the ceiling"

"Scrape all the polystyrene of first!! Then wet the adhesive with warm water & Leave to soak for 10 mins & use a heavy duty scraper with a sharp blade, a quicker way is to use a wallpaper stripper!! Mick mannion"
