    House Alarm Niusance

    Electricians

Since a recent power cut, my not in use house alarm has gone crazy. The alarm kept making chirping noises and then went off making such a noise that I took the plug out at the circuit break in my fuse. But it’s still making noises from the back up battery I think. What do I need to do to make it stop?

    "Hello Pupleen,
You need to remove the 12 v back up battery by disconnecting the leads from +/- terminals. Thanks Ged."

"Remove both terminals from the battery in the panel and the battery in the outdoor sounder (if neccessary)."
