"The best paint to use on any outside doors, front or back of property, door frames, casement windows or sash windows is Dulux exterior high gloss paint. All exterior gloss works (top coat) should be applied twice."

All good quality solvent/oil based paints will be good"

"Use a undercoat to give it good protection. Then u won’t need to give it more than 1 coat, with a good gloss. You must sand any ruff patches first."

"A quality oil based paint from good manufacturer Leyland, dulux, sikens will offer many years of protection, unfortunately due to wood expanding and contracting due to environment paint work does need redoing after a while, other than primer undercoat and quality u. v proof top coat there aren't any further protections."
