Not settled on whether to get something premium yet, but how much does an electrician charge to replace an extractor fan in most cases

"Hi,

It would depend on whether it is a 100mm wall mounted Ex Fan in a Bathroom or an In-Line Ex Fan for a Bathroom which sits in the Loft space OR if it's a 150mm Ex Fan for a Kitchen which is more expensive again.
However, to give you an idea of cost in the first instance.
To remove, supply & install wall mounted is around £ 120 + Vat.
The In-Line model is £ 250 + Vat

"depecding of how long the job takes + travel time. Anything between 1 and 2 hours. Like for like is generally easiest and quickest route to replacing a fan. However, it is rarely possible to find the exact same model fan which means that some alterations may be required which would take more time. Cost, anywhere netween £120-£200."

"roughly £100 if you supply parts and core the hole out your self.. if not looking at around 250, if you want it done"
