    Extra electric socket

    Electricians

I would like to have a double socket installed in a small room/cupboard (7ft x 7ft approx) that has my electricity meter, fuse box etc on 1 of the walls. Is this a reasonably straightforward job and approximately how much would it cost? Any advice and or ballpark figures would be greatly appreciated!

"With the fuse box in the same room this could be a straight forward job for an electrician, socket installs are normally £70-£85."

"Just out of interest what is the purpose of the socket? The job sounds straightforward and if the circuits are ok then it should only cost between £90 to £100."
