"Faulty Element, Faulty Tank Thermostat or an issue with the electrical supply."

"There are many reasons for that, faulty heat element, faulty thermostat and faulty electrical supply. Thanks"

"Most probably the thermostat
This is why your water tank ain’t heating up"

"Possible any of the following:
1. A blown fuse to a spur outlet
2. Thermostat faulty.
3. Feed cable fault.
4. Blown main element"

"Thermostat fuse switch unit heating element
These are the main parts which do go faulty
If it heating element is more than 5 years old
I would say that's your problem you need a plumber"

"Hi, first thing to do is to check the immersion heater switch is in the on position, if that’s not the issue, then check at the fuseboard that the circuit supplying the immersion heater is in the on position, if that’s not the issue, then check the thermostat within the immersion heater element, by first isolating the circuit to the immersion heater, if the thermostat has a reset switch then turn or press to reset, then turn on the circuit breaker and check.
If after these checks, it still doesn’t work, then call an electrician or heating engineer"

"The culprit may be anything from a faulty thermostat to damaged elements, and even limescale buildup. So, read along to find out why there is no hot water in your immersion heater and how you can resolve that problem."
