"Heating element is blown, and will need replacing. General the whole heater would just be replaced with a new one and the old broken one would need to be recycled"

"Either
The heating element is gone
The fire has overheated so the heating element has switched off to cool down
Or could be a loose connection stopping the heating element from receiving power"

"It could be one of many issues when it comes to electric fires. Could be the fan, a power supply problem, blocked vents on the fire, thermostats and the list goes on. Best opinion is to get it looked at and make sure everything is safe before using the appliance again."

"2 way that is, element is gone, or a safety over heat mechanism has been activated.

I would expect a repair to be a minimum 100 so you should evaluate approx cost of unit and make your decision from there"
