Electric fault appliances not working

What would cause appliances / boiler / internet etc not to work but the lights to work. The fuse box switches seem fine

"Either a faulty fuse, cable damage (or an rcd trip but unlikely if you've checked the board and they're all in the on position)"

"Suspect could be a faulty appliance causing this issue . Or could be a faulty breaker /RCD . Or faulty wiring . Generally we start at 1st point and work down. Please bear in mind that we have test equipment to fully investigate"
