Do you render and put fascia on top or render up to fascia

Do you render and then put fascia on after or fascia first and render up to it?

"Hello. It's usually better to render to the fascia board. Why? Because if you render up to existing you can easily seal the top of the render to that."

"If possible yes then you should render first fascia and sofit on after for better finish"

"Depends on what render you are wanting to be honest, and cement render you go to the fascia and we tape the fascia so no damage at all, and if you supply fascia I could do that not a problem"
