Dining alcove for a small kitchen

We want a dining alcove in our kitchen but have limited space. Any tips for incorporating a bench and table into a compact kitchen design?

I recently done a kitchen Refurb where the slope for the stairs was in the kitchen and to make use out of this space I made a custom cabinet and shelving for storage and also the shelve held the kettle. There was no room to stand and do the tea/ coffee but you could boil the kettle and take it over to the worktop. It just utilised that but of space. I hope this is of use to you. Regards, David

Te table top can be screwed to the wall and lifted  when needed, just add chairs. I can't think of anything else because I can't see the kitchen.

Hi, the best solution in compact space would be a wall hung, foldable table and bench, so can be fold away if not in use.

Have to look at kitchen itself.. can be inter grated with not the wall coming down
