Damaged scotia beading

Hello, I had new laminate flooring and scotia beading laid a couple of years ago. Recently I noticed that a small section of scotia beading has become damaged.

This section is near where my dining table is and a chair has been scraping/pressing into the section when I sit down (space is tight in my flat). Some of the top layer of the scotia beading has been dented/torn. It is not very visible unless looking close up. I am wondering if there is something I can do to repair this section or do I have to replace the whole section of beading. I have looked into floor repair kits but I was not sure if this is the best way to fix this type of damage.

"The price of a floor repair kit compared to 1 length of beading, I'd be more inclined to replace."

"Scotia beadings are not easily repaired.
It is better & cost affective to replace part of the beading.
You have the option of replacing a small chunk of it or full length of beading."

"A length of replacement beading is very cheap and very easy to install, I would go for that option. It can be tacked in or glued or combination of the two. Someone with very basic DIY ability could do this"

"Unfortunately with this being Scotia beading it's not really cost effective to repair. A length of beading ranges from £4-£9 so I'd reccomend just replacing the damaged section."

"Hi, replace the strip of beading, will cause you less stress and probably cost less, pick up a strip of beading for less than a tenna"
