Should I worry if a tree creaks a lot in windy weather?

Yes this means air and water have got into the crown and worked into a secondary growth which means it’s weaker at top heavy

All depends really. Could be a old creaky tree but can also mean serious decay. I would recommend getting it checked for safe keeping

The odd creak in the wind is normal however if you are worried get someone to take a look is my advice

It depends on a couple of factors, if tree is leaning, how much it’s moving ect would need too have a look

Not necessarily as trees as trees will flex in windy weather and the creaking sound is usually when some of the flexing branches come into contact with each other.
