Cost to get rid of asbestos roof sheets?

What price should I expect? Does anyone I hire need to have some sort of certificate?

"These are some rough ideas. It’s best to call around with the size of the garage and get some quotes.

General Asbestos Removal: £50 to £75 per square metre.
Single Garage Roof Removal: £400 to £500 (excluding sides).
Double Garage Roof Removal: £750 to £1,000 (excluding sides)."

"Depends on the company that does the job for you because some will charge more than others"

"The company removing the sheets needs to be asbestos 1 qualified, The company disposing of the sheets needs to have a asbestos disposal licence and produce a disposal certificate on completion.
The removal cost would range from £15-£25 per m2.
This would be stacked or double bagged to comply with legislation.
The collection and disposal costs would be between £10-£15 per m2, or approx £25-£30 for a bag.
The disposal cost is based on weight."

"Asbestos roof sheets are able to be removed by unlicensed tradesmen. They are generally chrisotyle cement asbestos. Once removed they have to be safely disposed of by licensed carriers.
The prices will depend on the type of work involved, access, how many sheets, area so this would need to inspected and quoted accordingly."

"Check with your local council as some areas will accept asbestos if double wrapped and taped. If you hire someone the price will vary depending on the company as some will only accept the work if they can dismantle and dispose of it whereas there are companies who will just collect it and dispose. Asbestos roof sheets are generally quite safe to handle DIY as long as you use correct PPE and handling techniques"

"Roughly £50 per sheet depending on access etc. For this you should receive a waste consignment notice."
