I would like to have a 15 square metre room fully painted. I would like the paint to be high-quality and water resistant. I am based in Yorkshire and would like to know what a painter might charge in my area to complete this work as an overall cost. How much would the paint itself be? And how about the hourly charge of the painter?

Is very hard to say every painter needs to see it how the wall looks like voids you need sand it down and apply undercoat white mat and then 2 main coats of the colour you chose.
And about prices of painters it depends where is it and is not by hour rate but day rate.
