I am curious about just how much it might cost to have a basement extension created in a home where none exists? Is this something tradespersons/contractor companies even provide? And if so, what sort of price tag would it involve?

Yes this is normally possible to do. But to give a price without plans could be very different than with plans.

the cost always depends on ground make up and what properties. are around you. it could cost from £15.000.00+

With permission and structural design and obviously alot of hard work this has to be designed at a cost prior to excavations start but are company have done these before. Various conditions are based on ground type /services/age of property so unfortunately unable to answer with out a viewing. With a specialist engineer at a cost of £500 to start the conversation as the engineers time and drawings will set you back.

Your question does not give any details about the work involved. If you want meaningful pricing, draw up plans and a specification for the work involved. An Architect or draftsman will do this for you.
The price will depend on the size and depth of the basement, what materials you want to use, access to the site, etc.
