Groundwork
SGB were very professional and extremely competent. They dug two trial pits for us ( for foundation inspection) , then after inspection backfilled the holes and replaced the slabs - such that you wouldn't know there had been holes there. All the works was carried out quickly and efficiently. Stan is a very experienced and knowledgeable civil engineer and his work was tidy and efficient. They were very agreeable and pleasant to talk to and have around the property. I couldn't recommend SGB more highly to anyone requiring groundwork expertise.

Underpinning / Foundation
Martin quoted sensibly and started the job the following day. Very courtious and obviously knows his stuff. Worked hard over the 3 days (even working when it was dark outside). Impressed with the finished product (paved base for shed and path) and have advised him we will ask him to quote for future jobs internal & external.

Stan came to quote us and was started within days, he and Chris were friendly, knowledgeable and sorted any problems promptly -and did a beautiful job.The price was very competetive too. Thank you guys.
