Hi there. I’m just wondering what I can do to protect my pipework from freezing over in the winter or around that time? What can be done, and can I do this DIY?
How much will it cost me to hire a handy man's service to replace my old toilet to a new one.
We've been having problems with what I assume is our boiler. When we use the shower we can hear the pipes underneath rattling really loudly and a chugging and propeller type noise that sounds like it’s hitting something. The noise used to be much more subtle and only came on when we had the heater on, I think this is also affecting our water pressure in the shower. The problem has gotten worse over the past few months. What could it be?
If there’s a tap leaking at my home, would a company come out just to fix that?
We're thinking of adding an extra toilet and we've been told it's tricky to plumb in and should consider installing a macerator. I'm not sure I like this solution as it seems overly complicated and a bit icky, so I would like the professional opinion of a plumber. Is this a good, reliable and hygienic solution, or not?
Could you tell me what a shutoff valve is please? And how does it work? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I don’t have an emergency right now but just wondering, who could I contact if a plumbing emergency arose, and especially if it happened at all hours, like four in the morning? Would just be good to know in case. You can never be too safe! Thank you!

What tools do I need to remove a radiator?
What are the advantages of disc taps and when would it make most sense to have one installed?
