    Neighbours replace shared roof

My neighbour has had her half of our semi detach house roof replaced. The builder has cut the tiles on the boundary rather than interlock them. Will this cause us roof problems in the future

Bathroom move from downstairs to upstairs

I'm looking to move my bathroom from downstairs to upstairs. (It's an old house). The main building work, I guess, would be to cut a hole for, and install, a frosted-glass window, and cut a hole for a toilet and bath/sink waste pipes. I know where I want the bathroom and have started to stud out part of a bedroom to accommodate it. My question is, ballpark, how much to do the window and the waste holes, and what permissions would I need.

    Lintel repair or more?

We're looking at buying the first floor maisonette. It is in a block of four. I'm concerned about the wide v shaped crack leading from ground floor window up to the sill of first floor window. Is this easily repairable and if so how much would it cost? There are hairline cracks in the bedroom to the back of the building - could this be related? Sorry - novice here!

    Moving a door - fixing/building wall

Our house is a typical 1930 mid-terraced house. When you enter you see a wall at the end of the corridor, because the kitchen door is under/behind the stairs. We want to move the door to the left side of the wall (so you can see it when you enter the house) and close the area under the stairs to make storage space. How much would cost to fix/build the wall (where the door sits currently) and open a door on the left side?
