Can you buy kitchen units and doors separately?

Is it possible to buy kitchen unit carcasses and doors separately? So, just buy cheap units and shop around for doors?

"Good morning Joyce
This is an option for instance if you was to buy your kitchen from howdens wren wickes benchmark or any where like they, they sell there carcass fairly cheap and then you add the doors to make the colour of the kitchen. But if you was to buy your carcass from say B & Q and the doors from somewhere else it will be difficult to fit and match the hinges to fit the doors if that make sense. Hope this information was helpful"

"Yes it is possible to buy carcass separate to doors. You'll find alot of specialist companies that can do all different kinds of designs. Another idea would be to buy normal units and wrap the fronts on the cabinets"

"In essence yes. Although I wouldn't advise it. It's the same as everything nowadays.... you get what you pay for.

"Yes you can, the only issue you may get is certain ranges of doors will only come in certain sizes, so before you buy the units make sure the range you’ve chosen will go with the units you need."
