Can I request how many labourers do my job?

For a project, is it okay to request how many labourers will be on-site or is that always fully decided by the tradesperson themselves?

"if it's a large project then yes you will need labour. but if it's a small project, then the tradesperson can do the labouring"

"It is up to the customer if they wish to have no labours or as many as the tradesperson need as long as the customer has agreed with the tradesperson a price for the job and the customer is not charged more for extra labours than needed"

"Hi Greg,

Given the tradesperson is the expert in their field doing the job, they would usually know what sort of labour they require.

Obviously, if you have experience in that field and you feel it's too much or indeed too little you can voice your feelings.

However, if it's just a case of you wanting to stipulate how many labourers are required for example to save on cost then I would recommend against that.

Thanks,

Lee"

"Hi
This depends on what amount of work that needs to be done and the time to complete it all, maybe you can inform me of the project I could look at and advise you, I always look at the quality of work as the project goes along and of the agreement contract between both yourselves what is all agreed cost, time to complete all everything should be listed of what Niro be done materials/cost before any work starts deposit etc.
Hope this helps
Kind regards

"The more people you have the more you pay. The contractor would know how many people he needs but to get the job done quickly he could bring more people in"

"It's usually decided by the tradesman because it's governed by how many labourers the tradesman has"
