can you put on adhesive paper on a kitchen worktop

"It will not last long. most worktops are laminate .it needs to be waterproof and heat resistant."

"Yes you can but I will have to be water proof and you can’t put hot pots and plates or cups on as it might burn through"

"I wouldn't reccomend it, the water will peel it off I think."

"Yes you can, but remember that in a kitchen you cook, so will get a lot of moisture build up and steam when cooking which will cause the paper to start peeling off. So my advice would be to not do that."

"You certainly can, however it probably is not a lasting solution. Moisture and mechanical damage will soon damage it and you will have to either do it all over again, or look for a more lasting solution."
