Can I fill an in-ground pool DIY?

Could a DIYer fill an in-ground swimming pool or would a professional really be needed?

"It's easy enough to do your self, I'm guessing you mean fill in the swimming pool so it's none existing fill it wil soil so far up leaving enough room for hardcore to what depth you need it to be, that will depend on what it is your wanting it replaced with/for"

"Yes you can fill a pool yourselves however, before doing so you would need to penetrate the lowest areas of the pool with sufficient sized drainage holes, 60mm layer of Hardcore over the top of that then fill away."
