Can a DIYer remove a radiator?

Is it easy enough for a DIYer to remove a radiator? It will make it easier for decorating if I can remove it. The radiator is only a few year's old.

"Easy enough, lock down the flow / return open the bleed then crack the valve on the rad side. Drain the rad undo the other side, then take it off the wall."

"As long as the taps turn off, once they’re off it’s isolated from the rest of the system so all you have to do is empty it….

- you will need two water plyers to undo the nuts, if you put a small bucket or paint try to catch the water it should take 10mins…..

-if you knock the radiator you’ll find out how much water is left, a towel can be handy and a spare bucket as you will have to empty the surplus water when other fills up…..

Good luck"
