"It all depends on the type of roof you need paining. There are tile paints and flat roof like fiberglass roofs which will need different paints. For tile i would use Everest premflex and for fiberglass I would use siramico liquid rubber."

"[Everbuild 905 Black Jack All Weather Roof Coating]() — a widely used bituminous waterproof coating.

[Bedec Superflex Roof Coating]() — elastomeric coating suitable for a range of roof surfaces.

[Thompsons Roof Seal]() — general roof sealer / coating for maintenance.

[Ronseal 10 Year Roof Seal]() — marketed with a 10-year performance.

[IKOpro Universal Flat Roof Renovator]() — specifically for flat roof renovation.

[Ronseal One Coat Roof Seal]() — convenient one-coat option (if substrate allows).

[Cromapol Acrylic Roof Coating]() — acrylic type coating, useful for general roof surfaces.

[Bond It Seal Acryl Roof Repair Paint]() — for repair work and patching as well as coating.

These give a range from basic waterproofing to more premium elastomeric or flexible systems.

What I’d Recommend (Given a Typical Roof in UK)

If I were choosing a “best compromise” roof coating for a typical UK sloping roof (tiles or concrete), with moderate climate, I’d lean toward a quality acrylic / elastomeric coating with UV protection, good flexibility, and a warranty around 10–15 years.

However, if your roof is flat or has areas of ponding water, I’d lean toward silicone or premium polyurethane systems that can better resist standing water.

If’s your roof is tile (clay, concrete, slate), use a system designed for tile surfaces (often with primers and breathable topcoats). For metal roofing, coatings specifically formulated for adhesion to metal are best (many are acrylic or hybrid formulas).

Also consider high-end coatings like RENOTEC (for tiles) if you want long-term performance and are willing to pay a premium."
