"Fire-proof fire rate lights should be installed in special areas of the bathroom."

"would recommend a plastic flying saucer type led ceiling light for a quick fix or LED spots as the best option & to give you a good even light everywhere in the bathroom. No rusting or any bulb changes for a gazillion years or so."

"Try to find lights specifically designed for bathrooms. Chrome finishes should not rust however you will need to spend a bit more to find a fitting that lasts longer."

"I would recommend IP65 rated Fittings. A material like plastic would not rust."

"The lights you have are probably not bathroom lights. Most bathroom lights wouldn't rust as they are normally made from plastic or coated metal. You need IP rated bathroom lights installed. Get in contact with someone competent in electrical work to carry out the installation of some suitable lights."

"Poor ventilation (increased humidity), my best advice is to go with PVC lights or install new extractor fan for toilet."

"These downlights that have rusted I'd say they must be chrome as they tend to rust in damp environments much faster than a downlight spray coated for for colour.
This is not a problem and can easily be changed
And maybe some upgrade on air flow and movement in the bathroom."
