Ive just noticed water leaking in above my downstairs window. Its dripping through the plaster just below where the lintel would be. Has only just started on a day with heavy rain. Is this a job for builder or a window fitter or am i best calling another trade?

    white patches on brickwork

Do white patches on outside brickwork of house mean that water is getting in behind bricks and making walls damp? Could it be guttering is not aligned properly or not deep enough under roof tiles to take water into down ? The wall above bedroom window has shown water/condensation running down and black mould around window frame has recently been removed. Roof also been dripping water so could be leak or very bad condensation. Sound advice much appreciated on what to do next. Thank you.

Safety precautions when working with medium-density fibreboard

Could you tell me what safety precautions are necessary for working with medium-density fibreboard? How does preparing to work with this type of wood differ to working with other types of wood? What tools, equipment and products might I need to consider using with this type of wood, whether for treating it, sustaining it or preparing it for initial installation? Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing back.
