    RCD unit 65-80A. 28kw total equipment output (Ranger cooker 16kw, microwave 2500kw, fryer 2 X 3kw, electric griddle X 3kw etc although the range cooker will not all be switch on- so average total output could be 18-23kw Will I need a new Consumer unit with 100a or can my old unit just need it's fuse changing? will all the wiring needs replacing w/ a thicker ones. Will it need 16.0mm wire (to accomodate total output) if the wire touches wall/ceiling but contained in a trunk/pvc pipe? How much time/estimated cost for this work?

    Are sliding patio doors reversible?

    Our patio door installer made a mistake when ordering our doors. We wanted them to open left-to-right, but he installed them right-to-left. We believe he ordered the wrong ones. When we pointed out the mistake, he came back the next day and turned the whole thing (doors and frame) around. My question is whether these doors will now meet building regulations? The sliding door and track is on the outside and the screws on the handle plate are on the outside. We noticed during the recent storms that the weep holes were on the inside. The fitter came and filled these in and drilled new ones on the outside of the door. This just doesn' feel right to me.

    Has my shower screen been sealed correctly?

    Hello, I have installed a new bath shower screen recently. It does fit, but seems to be a little looser than expected. Does this happen usually, or ought there be more stiffness or friction to limit it’s movement? Also – I have a seal leak at the end of the hinge. Is there a possible way to stop this? Or any recommended seals I should use instead? Any advice would be appreciated – thanks!
