  • Has my shower screen been sealed correctly?

Hello, I have installed a new bath shower screen recently. It does fit, but seems to be a little looser than expected. Does this happen usually, or ought there be more stiffness or friction to limit it’s movement? Also – I have a seal leak at the end of the hinge. Is there a possible way to stop this? Or any recommended seals I should use instead? Any advice would be appreciated – thanks!

    Hairline crack after plastering

I had house renovated in July including New plastering. After two months I notice now hairline cracks appearing in several places. I asked the builder to come and look at it . He is asking to pay him for mending the cracks. Am I required to pay for this, as this is due to his initial plastering? Do you normally get hairline cracks after plastering? Pease could you give advice on this.

    Can you just replace countertops?

I need help with a question about replacing kitchen countertops. So we just bought a new house and I like the gloss cupboards but don’t like the countertops. Is it possible to take off just the countertop and replace it with a nicer one without damaging the cupboards or wall tiles behind it?

    What size cable

Hi, to get electrics to a garden office, what size 3 core SWA cable required? 16mm or 25mm? Garden office has 2kw panel heater, 8.5kw electric shower, 4 double sockets, a fridge/freezer unit, microwave, coffee machine, and 11 downlights. I calculated around 100amps usage at any one time. Distance from house fuze box to garden office around 30-40 meter. Half overground, half underground. Any other tips welcome. (i. e. 4 core better idea?) Thank you. P
