"Cleaning a patio without a pressure washer is still possible using alternative methods. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you clean your patio effectively:

Remove debris: Begin by clearing the patio of any loose debris such as leaves, twigs, or dirt. Use a broom or a leaf blower to sweep the surface thoroughly.

Sweep or brush: Use a stiff broom or a brush to scrub the patio surface. This will help remove any loose dirt, dust, or stains. Pay special attention to areas with visible stains or grime.

Prepare a cleaning solution: Mix a solution of warm water and a mild detergent or dish soap in a bucket. Alternatively, you can use a mixture of vinegar and water, or a specialized patio cleaner according to the product instructions.
Scrub the patio surface: Dip a stiff-bristled brush or scrub brush into the cleaning solution and scrub the patio surface thoroughly. Focus on any stained or dirty areas, applying extra pressure as needed.

Remove stains: For stubborn stains, you can use specific stain removers or try homemade solutions. For example, mix baking soda and water to create a paste and apply it to the stains. Let it sit for a few minutes before scrubbing and rinsing.

Rinse with water: Use a garden hose or buckets of clean water to rinse the patio surface. Ensure that all the cleaning solution and residue are thoroughly rinsed away.

Dry the patio: Allow the patio to air dry naturally. If you're in a hurry, you can use a clean mop or towels to absorb excess water and speed up the drying process.

Replace furniture and decor: Once the patio is completely dry, put back any furniture or decorations that were removed earlier.

Remember to wear protective gloves and follow safety guidelines when using cleaning products."

"The classic and easiest method is to wash your paving slabs with warm water mixed with dish soap, rubbing it in with a brush before rinsing it with water and allowing it to dry fully."

"You can use 'Wet and Forget' cleaning solution and a firm brush to get the algae off. There are other algae removing cleaning products, that attach to a normal hose. But the Wet and Forget has the best reviews online."

"Safety First: Wear appropriate safety gear like gloves and goggles to protect yourself.
2. Sweep Debris: Begin by sweeping away loose debris, leaves, and twigs from the patio surface.
3. Mix a Cleaning Solution: Create a cleaning solution by mixing equal parts of white vinegar and water in a bucket. Alternatively, you can use a mixture of warm water and mild dish soap.
4. Apply the Solution: Pour the cleaning solution over the algae-covered areas of the patio.
5. Scrub: Use a stiff-bristle brush or a broom to scrub the algae. Scrub in a circular motion, applying some pressure to dislodge the algae.
6. Let it Sit: Allow the cleaning solution to sit on the algae for about 15-20 minutes. This helps to break down the algae and make it easier to remove.
7. Scrub Again: After the soaking time, scrub the area again with the brush or broom.
8. Rinse: Use a hose or buckets of clean water to rinse away the cleaning solution and algae residue. If you have a lot of algae, you may need to repeat the process.
9. Prevent Future Growth: To prevent algae from returning, consider improving drainage and sunlight on the patio area. Regularly sweep and clean the patio to prevent buildup.
10. Apply Algae Inhibitor: After cleaning, you can apply an algae inhibitor or a diluted bleach solution to discourage future growth. Be cautious with bleach, as it can discolor surfaces, so test it in an inconspicuous area first."
