Would I tile my bathroom before or after the fitters install the furniture?

I’m getting a whole new bathroom fitted, tiles/floor/bath/shower/loo/sink etc. Should I get the floor and walls tiled before the rest of the bathroom is installed? Or will they likely get damaged by the fitters?

"First time you have to do first fix plumbing work (water pipes, waste pipes) then tiling and after fix the hand basin, toilet.
About the bathtub depends what type is.
You have 2 options:
1) fix the bathtub before tiling;
2) tiling the floor and walls and after the bathtub if is freestanding with exposed legs"

"The best way is to put the bath in or shower tray then tile the bathroom and put the sink and toilet in when it is tiled"

"Fit bath or shower tray and then get full bathroom tiked and then fit furniture and rest of goods afterwards as its a much better finish and also less likely to get damaged"

"Tiles should be fitted before the appliances as you want your appliances to sit on the tiles not just being cut around , the only holes that you are going to have are the fixtures for the appliances ex: toilet , basin, shower cubicle, towel rail."

"The only part/parts of the suite you would usually fit is the bath and/or shower tray."

"Some wall areas can be done except for bath area and shower tray area as always better to to tile down on to these once siliconed to create a better seal. I like to leave the floor tiles till the end the toilet and sink can be fitted dry then taken out the way to tile then refitted."
