Does the depth of the worktop matter at all? I've seen them range from 1.8mm to 3.6mm.

In most cases this is just down to personal preference (So how thick do you want your worktop to be)
We recently fitted 1.8mm thick quartz worktops which look amazing and would look silly if any thicker. If you are having a standard wooden top however this maybe quite a thin top so maybe you should look for something slightly thicker.

"Hi. You ste referring to the length. As yes it matters. Standard lengths are 3mts. Then 3.6. Then 4.1... depth/width are 600mm. 665mm 900mm. Your fitter, designer can assist you with this. Good Luck."
