Working with an architect

How much input can I have when getting plans drawn up? I'd like to be involved as much as possible.

"When you hire an architectural professional, you're paying for their experience and knowledge to make the most of the space so we would recommend you give them a detailed brief explaining what the space is to be used for and allow them to provide you with some proposed plans. From here, you would provide feedback on what does and doesn't work for you and work with your chosen professional to finalise a set of functional and feasible plans."
