Wood flooring or carpet for family home

Do you suggest wood flooring or carpet if I'm looking for family-friendly flooring?

"Either one, I suppose it depends on the traffic throughout the house as wood floors are more cleaner friendly. carpet is a bit warmer but tends to hold dust and could be a factor for anyone with asthma or breathing difficulties. maybe carpet in the bedrooms and wooden floors for the rest of the home. Having small children carpet would be recommended due to safety reasons however safety measures can be put in place such as rugs and mats if wooden floors are the preferred choice. all in all wooden floors give a fresh and cleaner feel, easier to clean and durable."

"Hello! My opinion is laminate flooring is the best for family. If you will put carpet is good because kids can play but it’s very bed for their health. All the dust will remain in the carpet and that is very bed for kids and for all family."

"Depends how old the kids are if you have babies and toddlers id suggest carpet if the family is older them I'd recommend hard flooring. Simply younger ones tend to tumble over and will cushion there blow"
