Ask your QuestionI need a new bathroom ceiling. The flat upstairs had a leak and my ceiling now needs replaced. Can someone tell me what kind of tradesman I need for this job? Thanks

"The ceiling would of course be the responsibility of the person in the upstairs flat because they have caused the damage!
However as it is usually only plasterboard then it would be any handyman or if you wanted it done to a higher standard then a Dryliner would be needed."
"It does not require a specialist tradesman but your local general building contractor will sort this out for you."

Answered on 27th Mar 2020 - Member since Jan 2020 - report"You would need someone skilled in dry lining (plaster boarding) and a plasterer. Then a decorator. Most plasterers will board ceilings and walls.
