Is there any difference in performance between a recirculation cooker hood or one that vents outside?

In my opinion the best is vent outside ones. The recirculating one only blow the filtered air back to the kitchen, and it not always get rid all the smell, also It needs charcoal filter, witch can be costly, as every so often need to be changed.

"It is better to vent out if you can because you will be changing filters every 6 months but there is no differance in performance the machine still works as it should. I hope that helps you"
