    What is the RHI scheme exactly and how do I know if I am eligible?

    "The RHI scheme was a government backed initiative to encourage home owners to install green heating systems by providing a payment incentive over 7 years following installation. The payments were based on estimated or measured amounts of heat generated by qualifying green heating systems. However this scheme is now closed to new applicants."

    "RHI stands for Renewable Heating Incentive. It was a grant towards heat pums and solar panels etc.
    However it has been replaced by a one off grant of approx £5,000 pound. This I think is to be used on heat pumps to replace your boiler."
