What is the best pain for new plaster

Had the walls skimmed and I’ve never painted new plaster before. Do I need a special kind of paint or can I just use normal emulsion?

"For fresh plaster, leave it at least 48 hours to dry and then water down emulsion paint to approximately 30% water. Put on 2 coats leaving it to dry throughly between coats. The finish paint can then be applied."

"You need a kist coat. Dilute the matt with water. Get the mix a little runny and apply first coat. Wait till dry before painting with matt/emulsion"
