What type of metalworker should I hire to carry out welding repairs to the stalls in our stable block?

Best to look for a architectural metal worker who does welding repairs, if you know what type of metal it is that would help a lot (steel) most likely. You do not want a sheet metal worker.

Assuming that the metal is mild steel and most likely galvanised,  you will need a welder who has a full mobile setup and is capable of arc welding on site and that have fire blankets and extinguishers with them for safety precautions,  I would be able to help you.

Hi there , me would be a good start then you would want someone with experience with work around stable environment tig welding would be good because of no spark’s and secondly mma weld with lots of fire protection and a second person as a fire watch . Hope this helps Gavin
