Water pooling near the house

Question

Although we have no blockages, rainwater pools near the house. Is there an affordable way to improve our rainwater and patio drainage?

Depending on surrounding area small soakaways can be installed or aco drain to carry the water to the nearest drain or soakaway depending on ground conditions of what needs to be dug up will vary the cost in doing so eg stone drive way it going to be cheaper than Digging up block paving.

Hi if there’s another gully on patio or a manhole, channel an aco drain or new gully (where water is pooling) to either and add proper connection

Lay arco channels  all the way along  if ground is clay it will  not soakaway  properly and if a manhole is near better of getting  water supply  agreed  to put rainwater into manhole

You could put acco drain in then you will have to put a soakaway in as well

These problems can be resolved with the installation of Aco drains. These are drains that collect water at surface level. Then transfer the rainwater to underground pipes. Or a yard gully installed at lowest point were the water gathers. Then taking the water to underground pipes and rainwater manholes. Hope this helps.
