"Depending on the size on the chimney breast always best to try start in the middle if you can"

"You must measure the wall first. Then start at the left front side of the chimney wall and make sure that the return left hand side goes round the corner by at least 4 inches, and you allso must make sure that the the right hand side dose the same,. It maybe slightly more then the left hand side. But remember to measure the girth of your roll from end to end. Use a good sprit level and make a straight line. Before you start or you will be in trouble. There is always a nack to going around corners, so fallow my advice. Jamie MD painter and decorator"

"Find the middle of the chimney breast then paper outwards from this point in both directions
When you get to the point where the chimney Breast meets the wall cut the paper so it slightly overlaps onto the wall then overlap a full piece onto this"

"Wallpapering a chimney breast can be straight forward? Check that the walls are straight, I sometimes start from the centre depending on the wallpaper and the size of the chimney breast. Try and make the bend central to the roll of paper if the walls are square."

"it is possible, carefully and patiently using a vertical squeegee of about 20 cm to level well around the corner"

"Only go round 10 -30 mm & plum line next wall.
Cut off excess & work to plumb line.
Any overlap tuck under or splice"

"I personally would use a plum line and start hanging your paper from the middle of the breast. That way your paper will go around the corners a lot easier and neatly."

"Plumb your line on the centre of wall so it’s level and work left to right"

"Isn't any real simple way of explaining but to say as you come to going round the corner ,at the top snip the top of paper down to where it meets the ceiling so it goes round easily without ripping & same for bottom"

"First measure your chimney Breast then centre your first piece of wallpaper making sure it’s level then work either side of it"
