Wall-hanging a concrete hand basin

Do concrete hand basins need more support for wall mounting than porcelain ones?

"It should come with the appropriate fixings to go straight on a solid wall or if a stood wall it would need a wooden pattress putting in for more support."

"Hi. If it’s a stud wall (hollow wall ) then you will need to install supports in line with the brackets supplied for hanging the basin . If it’s a solid wall then a competent installer should be able to overcome any issues as long as the wall is sound( solid with no loose render )"
