Do tree surgeon companies deal with all work themselves or are the homeowners needed for anything?

"Almost all tree surgeons will require no assistance from the homeowner due to the dangerous nature of the work to be carried out.
However occasionally homeowners at their own request can help with removing the brash and tidying up in order to reduce costs"
