    Tree regeneration from a stump

    Is it true that some trees can regrow when all that is left is a stump? If so, what tree species are likely to achieve this and would it depend on other factors such as the condition of the stump and its environment?

    "Some trees won't go back but some trees will hemorrhage trees and poplar trees there are very fast growing trees and more than likely they will grow back from freeze want"
