Tiles underneath tiles in bathroom

I have tiles under tiles on the bathroom wall around the bath. Will there be a problem taking them off?

"Removing these two layers of tiles from the wall may cause you problems. Removing tiles can be very simple if they come away from the substrate plaster or they can come away with the plaster stuck firmly to the tiles, so removing 2 layers of tiles will just take longer. If you are removing tiles with the bath still in place make sure that you protect the bath from tile debris."

"hi,

No problems, just going to take twice as long and twice as many rubble sacks, good luck."

"Not so much of a problem to take off but be careful not to damage the board on wall or plaster too much, wear safety goggles also tiles chip and will go in your eye. Time and patience."

"I would suggest the first layer of tiles are well stuck that’s why they was probably left on you can remove these it won’t be easy and you may do quite a lot of damage to the walls underneath especially if there plasterboard you will have to replace all the plasterboard as well or with cementboard if this is in a wet room"

"Won’t be easy but with care it can be done. Tiling over tiles is generally done when there is a danger of damaging the wall when taking tiles off."
