Storing PIR products

What is the most appropriate way to store PIR products? Any recommendations? Does it depend on the material? What temperatures, conditions, etc. should be used for storage?

"Products should be stored off the ground, on a clean, flat surface and under cover. Products should be stored in a location free from ignition hazards and direct radiant heat. The polythene wrapping is not considered adequate protection for outdoor storage."
