"Hi Kelly, All depends on the width of your stairs, Runners are usually used to become a statement/feature of the house to offer more of a designer touch."

"Hi Kelly, in my opinion it would make your stairs look narrower if you have a stair runner."

"stair runners are usually fitted in the middle of your staircase leaving some of the woods visible and its narrower compared to full carpet option which would be a better option then runner but yet its depends on the customers what they want"

"Having done quite a few stair runners last year, I would say it looks more spacious even tho it's a small bit of carpet on it. It does look good when done right 👍"

"maybe they will be visible, but the size or width of the scale does not change"

"depends on the colour of the carpet you have. and also depends on the colour of the staircase its self. if the staircase is dark in colour it will look darker than a lighter colour"

"Unlike fully carpeted options, runners aren't as wide as your steps as they leave a gap on the side. Typically installed over hardwood or tiled stairs, they are a brilliant choice for both modern and traditional homes"
