"Yes you can but you need to run the cabling across the house."

"Jonathan. Almost certainly yes. Direct cabling is always the best option if possible. And this would include running a cable to a remote area and plugging a Wi-Fi transmission device in to feed that local area. But direct cabling from network to device will be best."

"Wired connections will always improve speed.
I recommend to customers that large static devices are best hardwired (Ethernet) Smart TVs consoles, desktop computers, leaving the wireless channels on your router for phones/tablets"

"The best solution is to use a WiFi Mesh solution, however you need connect as many as possible mesh satellites via Ethernet for it to be a robust signal. Which means installing Ethernet cables, which I have done for many customers in the past."

"Hard wired can speed up your connection. It al depends on the internet provider. It’s always worth giving them a call to check on your speed

"Yes.

If you have a Cat6 / Data / Ethernet cable from the router directly to a device the connection will be more consistent, faster and more reliable. If the device is next to the router for example then it will be a similar connection speed, if the device is on the top floor then a hardwired connection would be far superior. Alot of people now are having Cat6 cabling in residential renovations due to the reliability, connection speed plus it improves the Wi-Fi connectivity around the property with less devices connected to it. Happy to assist if you have any other questions"

"Yes and no. You will only be able to connect to the internet at the speed your internet provider provides and that you pay for.
You may need to upgrade your internet package for faster speeds"
