Soil Waste Manhole

We are looking to build a single storey extension on a bungalow but the soil manhole is where we want to extend, The run goes parallel with the bungalow and we are on the end, At present the run goes under a previous extension at the property. What are our options?

"Incorporate the manhole in the new floor using a recessed airtight cover screed it in and latex it or divert it out the extension then back in further along if you have space to do so"

"Need to see an aerial plan of the property with existing drainage run and the outline of proposed extension.

Strict regulations apply to these works plus it all depends on the local area water undertakings regarding what they will and will not allow. There is also the consideration of a shared run with adjoining properties as you say you are the end property."

"Hi usually within this situation the manhole need to moved outside of the extension and the drain line diverted back onto the original drain line. If you have building control involved they should should also tell you this. If by any chance you have got the area an internal cover can be installed but access panel will be needed just in case of a blockage etc.

Hope this helps

"You need a recess anti flood manhole cover or move existing chamber to avoid build over.
Happy to offer a quotation for these works.
Kind regards
