"For a standard bathroom renovation, 1 skip is usually enough. An average bathroom (suite, tiles, plasterboard, cabinets) typically fits into a 6-yard skip – most common choice £320-350 or 4 for a cheaper price. still good enough."

"For a standard bathroom renovation, you would typically only need one small to medium skip.

As a general guide:
• A 4-yard skip is usually sufficient for removing a standard bathroom suite (bath/shower, toilet, basin), tiles, plasterboard, and flooring.
• If there is extensive tiling, backer boards, or walls being removed, you may require a 6-yard skip.

Bathroom waste is heavy (tiles, plaster, ceramics), so it’s important not to overload a smaller skip beyond weight limits.

In most cases, one skip is enough unless:
• Structural walls are being removed
• The bathroom is unusually large
• Additional works (e.g. adjacent room alterations) are included

If in doubt, a 6-yard skip gives a bit more flexibility without significantly increasing cost."
