Garage clearance cost

We've got 15-plus years of accumulated junk in the garage that needs to go. How much does a clearance company typically charge, and does it include disposal?

"Hiya
This all depends on the quantity of the waste you have in your garage and what items you have that need disposing of as certain items cost a fixed amount compared to disposing of general waste etc.
I hope this helps."

"It depends on the company / soletrader, location, type and amount of waste that needs disposing. You need to shop around, found out what vehicles the professional has, its capacity mainly. It would roughly vary between £350-£450 per big van load."

"Hi there! I can't speak for everyone but my company charges an hourly rate, £39 p/h for one person, £69 p/h for me plus another.

Also, anyone who disposes of items properly and responsibly will be a Registered Waste Carrier, and they will incur charges at the tip, so that will have to be factored into costings.

I hope you found this helpful!

Kind Regards

Paul (Carnage Carriers)"

"Good morning,
I can't speak for everyone but we charge an hourly rate, £40p/h for one person, £65p/h for me plus another.

Also, anyone who disposes of items properly and responsibly are Registered Waste Carrier, I would check that they have their license."

"Most removal companies price on the weight of the items. This is because disposal sites charge per ton. If you were to have 1 ton of general waste you’d be looking at around £350, this would include fuel, labour and the disposal costs for the company to responsibly dispose of the items.
Best way to get an accurate price is to send the company of your choice pictures and be as transparent as possible about all of the items in the garage."
